Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship

I was awarded the Young Scholar's scholarship in seventh grade. After an extensive interview process along with scrutinous paperwork, I was finally accepted into the scholarship, being one of the 60 young scholars that they chose across the nation and the only one hailing from New Jersey. To this day, they support all of my financial decision-making and send me without cost to summer programs such as

Santa Barbara's SRA and Yale's YYGS.

President's Education Award

I have gotten this award all three years of my high school career. This award requires the recipient to maintain above a 4.0 GPA for every quarter of the school year. Although there were a few times that I came close to missing it, I managed to maintain my progress and receive this award for all three of my high school years. This award is specifically signed by the President and distributed to our school.

Congressional Award Gold Medal

This award requires the recipient to perform over 400 hours of volunteer, 250 hours of self improvement, and 250 hours of physical fitness as well as a travel trip initiative organized by the recipient only. This is a nationally recognized award and is distributed by the United States Congress to achieving youth.

Scholastic
Art and Writing Competition

I was awarded the Gold Key for Scholastic's Art and Writing Competition. The Gold Key was distributed to 650 of the nation's top story tellers. I wrote my short story on an autistic child named Perry and the hell that he went through at school in order to try and raise some awareness. This story was inspired by a real autistic child that I knew.

Congressional App Challenge 2nd Place Winner

I  developed a publicly accessible and beneficial AI tool in order to predict the risk of youth and woman diabetes. I submitted my work to the Congressional App Challenge and was chosen as a 2nd place winner in New Jersey, along with the few selected across the nation. This is a nationally recognized award and is distributed by the United States Congress to achieving youth.

2022 Summer International Essay Competition

I received an award for being one of 50 students (from 650+ submissions total) to write an essay about the environmental sustainability efforts for the prompt “If you had

10 minutes and the attention of world leaders, what would you talk about and why?”

I wrote on the topic of human trafficking, something that is very much prevalent these days but not much talked about.

NJMEA
All State Chorus
Bass II
2nd & 4th Place

This award was given to me by the committee for decision making in the NJ All State Chorus Board, and I was given the title of 4th Place in the state during my freshman year and 2nd Place in the state during my junior year. It is with great honor that I bear this position, and we have a concert coming up at Atlantic City in the very near future.

The President’s Volunteer Service Award Gold Recipient

I was awarded this for fulfilling a certain amount of volunteer hours (250 hrs per year). It is a national recognition program for demonstrating a strong commitment to volunteer service for over a span of 12 months. I was recognized for dedication to community service by both the AmeriCorps program and the Points of Light Foundation, showing a strong sense of civic responsibility and active engagement in community.

The National Research Award

I was awarded this for conducting research on the environment, more specifically levels of CO present in various locations in Guatemala. This required thorough analysis of data and constant monitoring through a CO detector and it had to be carried wherever I went.

The National Volunteer Award

I was awarded this for volunteering at multiple churches, elderly homes, and disabled homes throughout Guatemala. The volunteer work included donating gifts, administering medication, assisting with dental care and volunteer doctors, and taking vitals for less convenient people.

Leadership Honor Award

I was awarded for taking a leadership role in analyzing research during our trip in Guatemala. This required thorough analysis of data and constant monitoring through a CO detector as well as transferring that information to an excel sheet and plotting real time data in concurrence with its location.
