Activities

This is my activities section. There are too many things to put on this page,

so I picked out some of my most prominent extracurriculars. I am so grateful to

have been able to be a part of these activities and I have learned so much from them.

Joy Internal Medicine

As a seasoned veteran at Joy Internal Medicine under Dr. Ann, I undertake many responsibilities within a professional medical environment such as vitals, EKG's, and even paperwork.

Guatemala Intern/Research Trip

There is no better way to learn about the world other than hands on experience. As a student familiar with the medical field, I took my experience to Antigua Guatemala to deliver professional medical care to poverty stricken families and also performed research on the Carbon Monoxide levels in the area and possible solutions.

UCSB Summer Research Academies

I was going to experience the life of a college student for a month straight, something that i have never done. It was my First time being away from my parents, and it didn't help that it was  a month long. Little did I know that here, I would form memories and bonds unlike any other and learn more in a month than a whole school year along with important lessons of independence and responsibility.

Yale Young Global Scholars

Over the past summer, I had to chance to go to Yale for their Young Global Scholars Program. There,

I researched all about dissociative identity disorder and its credibility within the scientific community.

HCA Med/Golf Clubs

I created two different clubs at school in order for those with less experience in these topics than me to pick new things up or reinforce their knowledge on these specific topics. I led and created programs for these clubs, and throughout the year I was able to see growth in all my attendees!

St. Joseph's Hospital Volunteer

I had the chance to volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital in Wayne, NJ. I did various tasks such as fetch water for patients, change their sheets, and bring them food. It was such a priceless experience talking to all the patients and being able to help.

Global Youth Missions

There may be no better way to communicate what we do than through images. As you browse our site, take a few moments to let your eyes linger here, and see if you can get a feel for our signature touch.
